New to Aerial Arts

Our goal is to make you feel comfortable taking our classes! Whether you are an experienced aerialist or brand new to the practice, we have a class for every level! We recommend newbies start with an intro class. After you take an intro class or  if you have experience with aerial, we offer many options to help meet your needs. Let us help guide you into what classes are a good fit for you!

Our other yoga and barre classes are beginner friendly, and our instructors are always happy to pay a little extra attention to newcomers. Don't be intimidated by taking a heated class. The heat helps release toxins and heat up muscles to minimize risk of injury. As long as you have a towel, some water, and a positive attitude, you'll do great!

What to expect for your first class

It's helpful to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your first class so one of our friendly Sky Team members can give you a tour of the studio and help you sign in. All first time clients will be asked to fill out a waiver before participating in class.  Click here to meet our team.  Our instructors will help guide you through class. It is our goal to make you feel comfortable in the air. We welcome questions during class to ensure you understand the movements and poses.

Studio Etiquette

  • Please arrive to class on time. Plan ahead for extra time for parking and to get ready for class. Any student arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed to participate in class as it is a distraction to the instructor and other students.

  • No Jewelry of any kind is allowed. This is for your safety and the lifespan of our equipment.

  • Phones are allowed in the studio, but must be on silent mode. Phones will be allowed for use at the end of class during free time for photos and videos. If you must take a phone call please do so in the mudroom/lounge space.

  • Please no talking while the instructor is teaching class. We have very friendly staff and clients which we love, but remember to save the chats for before or after class! We welcome questions during class related to what is being taught!

  • Try to avoid lotions and perfumes prior to class. They can make it tricky to do skills properly and can damage our Aerials.

  • Wash hands prior to class! We try to have a clean and safe space for all to practice and hand washing is a crucial factor in achieving this.

  • Please clean aerials and mats after use with the sanitizing spray at the studio.

  • Please leave shoes in the mudroom. No shoes in studio spaces including the lounge area.
